WELCOME

to a celebration of the University of Liverpool's

Marine Biological Research Laboratory at Port Erin, Isle of Man

1892 - 2006

Class of 74/75

In particular it is a meeting point for the 1975 Honours Year students, their families, friends, colleagues & lecturers.

The sad closing of the Port Erin Marine Lab in September 2006 and the Grand Farewell Reunion of 30th June to 2nd July 2006 led to a flurry of emails as the Organisers ( including our very own Jeremy Paul ) tried to contact every student, scientist and staff member who had crossed the Lab's threshold.

In turn this led to several 'Golden Oldies' from the pioneer days of the 70's to get in touch and catch up with each other's lives and careers, some for the first time in over 30 years.

This web site started as a convenient way to exchange round robin emails and will continue in the future with news updates as they occur so please re-visit the site from time to time. Any news, photos, updated biographies- and corrections! - would be appreciated by the Webmaster.

Best wishes to all, it's been great fun meeting up with you all again
