DAVE MORRIS

October 2006 : During a half term visit to Dot near Lowestoft, I couldn't pass up the chance of a short detour to call on Dave & Family. He'd only just arrived home from some weeks in Ireland but we had a quick visit & the obligatory photo, and a hug after more than 30 years since we last met. Brenda

Sorry for the delay in replying - I won't be coming to the bash I'm afraid - hope it all goes well.

Mini biopic if you're interested:
Left PE and spent 10 years with British Antarctic Survey working on krill (same as bivalves bar the shell, they swim and the odd phylum or two separation), got married to Sara, so settled down working in the UK for 4-5 years, mainly on project management stuff for the UK Water Industry, acquiring daughter Rebecca & son Nathaniel on the way.

Four years in the United Arab Emirates en famille, mainly with the Oil & Gas industry, followed by 18 months in Russia building a pipeline (deserts, the Volga, nothing marine - don't ask) and a year in Azerbaijan doing likewise.

Last 5 years at Cefas in Lowestoft.

Cheers Dave
